Michael and Eric both grew up together in Lawrence, KS.  Following 9/11 they joined the Marine Corps through the Buddy Program and attended Boot Camp and School of Infantry together before joining separate units in Iraq as Combat Replacements following the Stop-Loss.  Both Michael and Eric separated from the Marine Corps with PTSD and TBI and while life took them down different paths they both came through their own healing journeys. Along this journey they came to a point where establishing VETWERX became a priority to help Veterans like themselves find healing.
